The other new dishes I tried were Chicken drumsticks in oats & soya sauce. Hubby and brother really liked it a lot, and then learned minced meat & lamb chops Biryani from Paluk… Aha! had such a good Biryani after a long time.
One thing without which Diwali is incomplete is definitely “the sweets”. Even after having loads of them, there is still scope for more ;-). This year I made Phirni for the prasad.
Besides baking, I tried out Reshmi seekh kabab, inspired from our very own Sanjeev kapoor. I made little bit of changes to the original recipe, to suit our taste and VOILA!! It turned out great.
